I haven’t been able to write much, ’cause coach has been really beating us down at practice. I really don’t understand where my friend Doogie gets all the time to keep that journal AND be a doctor. I’m having enough problems trying to balance Lisa Marie and Betty Sue. Lisa had to go and join Betty Sue’s karate class. With my luck, they’ll wind up best of friends and then I’ll never get to second base!
Anyway, at practice on Tuesday we didn’t dress up, but we did do EDT from the backhand. We worked on relaxing like Uncle Leo and Uncle Jeff told us. We also worked on the ball-and-chain concept for hitting the elbow. We did some Avish-like weight distribution exercises to try to be able to move people.
In the advance class we worked on two of the first 6 required self-defense moves. We did something before that; maybe Betty Sue knows.
